During surgeries, medical professionals frequently useanesthesia devices to help keep a patient from feeling pain and calmsurrounding muscles. Anesthesia canmake a patient tired or even oblivious, both of which are perfectly normalreactions to the drug. During the procedure, an Anesthesiologistwill monitor the patient's vital signs to ensure their safety and will alsocontrol the anesthetic dose. However, doing both at the same time can bedifficult if the monitoring equipment is outdated or difficult to understand.
