AWARDS AT ANESTHESIA 2021:

As an appreciation for the exquisite presentations rendered in the Conference we are introducing customized awards for Anesthesia 2020, with the rationale of reassuring a higher participation rate from students and researchers, we have introduced an assortment of awards for this year’s event. A certificate will be provided as advocacy to the winners during the award ceremony of the conference.

The Awards phased includes:

Best Poster Presentation:

It has been introduced to inspire the students (Graduates, Post Graduates and Research Scholars not above the age of 35) to present their work in the field in a simpler form. This helps gain deliberation and recognizes the scientific merit exhibited in the poster presentation.

  • Abstracts have to be submitted online or by email. Shortlisted abstracts for the competition will be intimated through email.
  • The participants must carry their poster to the meeting, using tubular packaging or a portfolio case.
  • The size of the poster should be: 40" x 59" or 1X1.5 Sq.Mts.
  • Space the information proportionally: divide your poster either horizontally or vertically into three or four sections, and place your materials within those spaces.
  • Use the large text (your text should be at least 18-24 pt; headings 30-60 pt; title >72pt.

Best Thesis Presentation (YRF):

It has been introduced with the motive of encouraging Young researchers to present their Masters/Ph.D./Postdoc thesis work in the esteemed event. The presentation aids the young researchers to gain reinforcement from the experienced committee members and speakers. Also helps in disseminating the research work

  • Young Investigators (e.g. Post-Graduate students, Post-doctoral fellows, Trainees, Junior faculty) are the focus of this event.
  • The topic must fit into scientific sessions of the conference.
  • Each individual participant is allowed to submit only one paper (as first author or co-author).
  • None of the authors should have senior position or faculty position.
  • Participants should be under the age of 33 years.
  • All submissions must be in English.

Session 1: Anesthesiology

Anesthesiology is concerned with the reduction of pain and provision of care to the patients before, during and after the surgical procedure. Anesthesiologists are the specialists in the field and are also involved in the venture of intensive care medicine, pain medicine, critical emergency medicine in addition to anesthesia. However, the main focus of the field is on the study and use of anesthesia and the safe support of the patients vital through the procedure.

Session 2: General Surgery

General surgery is the discipline that focuses on abdominal contents, it has several sub-specialties within. General surgeons afford broad, yet often very specialized training in all disciplines of surgery and medicine. These surgeons can patients requiring multi-system care such as major trauma and to address complex medical and ethical issues. General surgeons often set the standard for surgical care in a community.

Session 3: Cardiothoracic anesthesiology & surgery

Cardiac and Thoracic surgeons are involved in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions of Heart, lungs, and chest. They are involved in surgical procedures for treating cardiovascular and cardiothoracic conditions. Since the cardiac and thoracic surgery procedures are complex and invasive Cardiothoracic anesthesiologist instill comfort and care to the patients during preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative conditions.

Session 4: Neurosurgical Anesthesiology

Neurosurgery deals with the diagnosis and surgical treatment of disorders affecting the nervous system including the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and cerebrovascular system. Since the Neurosurgical process is complicated and painful neurosurgical anesthetics are used. Neurosurgical anesthesiologists play an important role in monitoring and controlling pain conditions and also ensure pain management during pre-operative and post-operative conditions.

Session 5: Ophthalmic Surgery & Ocular Anesthesia

Ophthalmic surgery is performed by ophthalmologists with great care during the surgical procedure to minimize the damage to the eye or adnexa. Ophthalmic surgery can be performed under topical, sub-Tenon’s, peribulbar and retrobulbar techniques as well as general anesthesia.


Session 6: Otorhinolaryngology Surgery

Otorhinolaryngology also called head and neck surgery deals with conditions of ear, nose, and throat and the related structures of the head, and neck. ENT surgeons a treat range of conditions including ear conditions, nose conditions, throat conditions, head and neck conditions as well as facial cosmetic surgery. With a wide range of sub-specialties in the field of Otorhinolaryngology, the ENT surgeons specialize in Otology, Rhinology, laryngology, head and neck surgery and more.

Session 7: Dental Anesthesiology

In dental procedures anesthesia is administered prior to the procedures to minimize pain, generally, local anesthetics are used to reduce pain in a particular region or part of the mouth. Occasionally general anesthesia can be used to cause temporary loss of consciousness during tooth extraction procedures.

Session 8: Oral & Maxillofacial surgery

Oral and maxillofacial surgeon is a regional specialist surgeon treating the entire craniomaxillofacial complex they are trained in many other techniques other than surgery such as emergency medicine, general surgery, and anesthesiology. They are the only health care specialists who can administer all levels of sedation, up to general anesthesia. Maxillofacial surgeons train in dentistry, surgery, and general medicine.

Session 9: Obstetrics- gynecological Surgery & Anesthesia

Obstetrics-gynecological Surgeons specialize in procedures concerned with the female reproductive organs including the vagina, the uterus, the ovaries, and the fallopian tubes. Obstetrics focuses mainly on women in their pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period whereas Gynecology focuses on the general health care of women. During these surgical procedures, Intravenous, Intramuscular or epidural pain medications can be used as an anesthetic.

Session 12: Pediatric anesthesia & Pediatric surgery

Session 15: Bariatric& Metabolic surgery

Bariatric surgery is performed on obese people to initiate weight loss. It generally involves procedures for the reduction of the stomach size and by making changes to the digestive system. This surgical procedure is performed on patients suffering from severe obesity and is unable to lose weight or to keep from gaining back weight lost using lifestyle treatment or medications. Metabolic surgery is performed to specifically address diabetes that fails to respond to lifestyle and medication changes, rather than obesity.

Delegates are personally responsible for their belongings at the venue. The Organizers will not be held responsible for any stolen or missing items belonging to Delegates, Speakers or Attendees due to any reason whatsoever.

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind.

Transportation

Please note that any (or) all transportation and parking is the responsibility of the registrant.

Press/Media

Press permission must be obtained from allied academies conferences Organizing Committee prior to the event. The press will not quote speakers or delegates unless they have obtained their approval in writing. The allied academies is an objective third-party non-profit organization. This conference is not associated with any commercial meeting company.

Requesting an Invitation Letter

For security purposes, letter of invitation will be sent only to those individuals who had registered for the conference. Once your registration is complete, please contact anesthesia@alliedevents.org to request a personalized letter of invitation.

Regarding refunds, all bank charges will be for the registrants' account.

Cancellation, Postponement, and Transfer of Registration

Cancellation Policy

If allied academies cancel this event for any reason, you will receive a credit for 100% of the registration fee paid. You may use this credit for another allied academies event which must occur within one year from the date of cancellation.

Postponement

If allied academies postpone an event for any reason and you are unable or unwilling to attend on rescheduled dates, you will receive a credit for 100% of the registration fee paid. You may use this credit for another allied academies event which must occur within one year from the date of postponement.

Transfer of registration

All fully paid registrations are transferable to other persons from the same organization if a registered person is unable to attend the event. Transfers must be made by the registered person in writing to anesthesia@alliedevents.org and finance@alliedacademies.com. Details must include the full name of replacement person, their title, contact phone number, and email address. All other registration details will be assigned to the new person unless otherwise specified.

Registration can be transferred to one conference to another conference of Allied Academies, if the person is unable to attend one of the conferences.

However, Registration cannot be transferred if it is intimated within 60 days of the respective conference.

The transferred registrations will not be eligible for Refund.

Visa Information

Keeping in view of increased security measures, we would like to request all the participants to apply for Visa as soon as possible.

Allied academies will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants. All delegates or invitees should apply for Business Visa only.

Important note for failed visa applications: Visa issues cannot come under the consideration of cancellation policy of Allied academies, including the inability to obtain a visa. However, a transfer of registration is possible.

Refund Policy

If the registrant is unable to attend and is not in a position to transfer his/her participation to another person or event, then the following refund arrangements apply:

Keeping in view of advance payments towards Venue, Printing, Shipping, Hotels and other overheads, we had to keep Refund Policy is as following slabs-

  • Before 90 days of the conference: Eligible for Full Refund less $100 Service Fee
  • Within 90-60 days of Conference: Eligible for 50% of payment Refund less $100 Service Fee
  • Within 60 days of Conference: Not eligible for Refund
  • E-Poster Payments will not be refunded.
  • Refund is not applicable for Discounted Registrations, either can be converted to a Video presentation or Webinar as per interest.

All the refunds will be processed after the conference only.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy

Accommodation Providers (Hotels) have their own cancellation policies, and they generally apply when cancellations are made less than 30 days prior to arrival. Please contact us as soon as possible, if you wish to cancel or amend your accommodation. Allied academies will advise the cancellation policy of your accommodation provider, prior to canceling or amending your booking, to ensure you are fully aware of any non-refundable deposits.
