Researchers are investigating how anesthetic drugs interact with other medications that patients may be taking. This research is important for avoiding harmful drug interactions that can lead to adverse effects. Recent studies have raised concerns about the potential neurotoxic effects of anesthetic drugs, particularly in young children. They are also investigating the mechanisms behind the neurotoxicity and developing strategies to minimize the risk. This session will cover a variety of topics related to the use of medications in anesthesia practice. These may include Mechanisms of action of anesthetic drugs, Anesthesia delivery systems and Adverse drug reactions and patient safety.
