Ahmet Eroglu was born in Trabzon, Turkey. He graduated from ?stanbul University Cerrahpasa School of Medicine in 1986. And then he completed his residency in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at Karadeniz Technical University. Now, Dr. Ahmet Eroglu is a Professor of Anesthesiology and Reanimation at the Medical Faculty of Karadeniz Technical University in Trabzon, Turkey. He is also a specialist in Critical Care Medicine. He is Consultant of Critical Care Medicine and Orthopedic Anesthesia. Dr. Eroglu has numerous publications in the peer-reviewed journals. His research interests have focused on general and local anesthetics, regional anesthesia, hypotensive epidural anesthesia, orthopedic anesthesia, acute pain control, postoperative patient-controlled analgesia, hazards of anesthetic gases, clinical toxicology, nutrition and critical care medicine. He has been a member of the editorial board in some medical journals.
